In an unprecedented gesture Israeli Prime Minister and his entire cabinet accorded a special welcome by receiving Prime Minister Modi at the airport an honor so far bestowed only on the US president and the Pope.

Moshe Holtzberg is now years old and has been living in Israel with his grandparents. He met Prime Minister Modi along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Reports claimed that the meeting was planned on a personal request by the prime minister who wanted to meet the survivor and his nanny Sandra Samuels. 70 year old Samuels was granted honorary Israeli citizenship. She said that she frequently travels from her home in Jerusalem to visit Moshe and his grandparents. Moshe will be visiting a Chabad house in Mumbai after two years when he is 13.
