CTET 2018 : Official Notification

CTET 2018 : Eligibility Criteria

CBSE invites all eligible candidates to apply online applications For the recruitment of Teacher Vacancies. Educational Qualification 

–> For Class I-V: The contender must have completed class 12th with at least 50% marks or should have cleared or appeared in final year diploma of elementary education.

–> For Class VI-VIII: The contender must have completed Graduation degree + passed or appearing in final year exam of (2 year) diploma elementary education.

CTET 2018 : Selection Process

The contender should know about the proper Selection process for CTET 2018. In the below we have given a full description of selection process. The contender will be selected as per their performance in the CTET Online examination. The candidates should be passed with the minimum qualifying marks of 60 % to qualify in the online exam. Stage 1 : Written Examination 

The eligible candidate will have to first attend the written examination. CTET examination 2018 is around 16th September 2018. For selection, it is necessary for the candidate to pass the written examination with minimum 60% marks.

–> Paper I: The paper I stand for a candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. The candidate who passed paper-I (written examination), they will can attend paper-II.

–> Paper II: The Paper II stand for a candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. The candidate who passed the both paper -I and II, they will be  select for teacher post.

CTET 2018 : Exam Pattern (Paper wise)

CTET 2018 examination paper will be a multiple choice type paper. Paper will be complete in 2.5 hours. Each question will comprise of 1 mark and there will be no negative marking against the wrong answer. Paper-I will be conducted first in the morning session for class I-V and Paper-II in the evening session for class VI-VIII. The CTET Exam paper questions will be based on topics like Child development and pedagogy Mathematics and Environmental studies, Social studies and social sciences.

Every Year, CBSE conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a test whereby candidates get an eligibility certificate for the appointment of a primary teacher for class I-V and Upper primary teacher for class VI-VIII. CTET 2018 Exam will be conduct to fill all the vacant positions in all central schools. This exam makes the candidates eligible to appear in different teaching exams like TGT, PGT.
